INDIANAPOLIS – Detectives have identified and arrested 21-year-old Tafari Clay of Indianapolis in connection with the shooting death of 33-year-old Hilary Acton of Clayton in June of 2015. After consultation with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect was arrested for Murder, Felony Murder, Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, and Possession of a Firearm by Serious Violent Felon. On Friday, June 10th detectives with IMPD Gangs/Violent Crimes Unit took the suspect into custody without incident. The suspect is currently being held in the Marion County Jail awaiting his next scheduled court hearing.
