IMPD, FBI collaborate to arrest trio suspected in multiple armed robberies

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) detectives working with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force arrested three juvenile suspects in connection with a series of armed robberies and carjackings committed near the Astoria Park Apartments on the city’s westside.  Using various investigation techniques, detectives were able to identify and apprehend the suspects believed to be behind at least eight cases involving armed robberies of food delivery drivers.
 
Detectives located several pieces of evidence allegedly tying the trio to several previous robberies, including the following incidents:

March 6, 2021                   7202 Hatteras Ln. 
March 9, 2021                   7202 Hatteras Ln.  
March 10, 2021                 7260 Wharfside Ln.   
March 12, 2021                 3954 Wind Drift Dr. E 
March 14, 2021                 7262 Wharfside Ln.  
March 19, 2021                 7270 Wharfside Ln.   

The three juveniles were taken into custody without incident on March 19, 2021. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a final charging decision.

A charge of a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
