INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 33-year-old male.
IMPD officers responded to the 1900 Block of N DeQuincy Street, just after 3 a.m., on the report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located two males that had been shot. Both victims were transported to Eskenazi Hospital, where the 33-year-old male, later identified as Clifford Brown Jr, died from his injuries. The 2nd victim, identified as 38-year-old Carl Stevenson of Fishers, was listed in good condition, suffering from a graze wound. IMPD detectives canvassed the area for witnesses and additional information.
There is no suspect information available at this time. Marion County-Indianapolis Forensic Services Agency responded to the scene to collect possible forensic evidence. The Marion County Coroner will be assisting and determining the exact cause of death.
