The Indiana Children and Nature Network encourages children to spend more time outdoors for their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As part of their collaborative efforts with businesses, organizations and individuals throughout the state, the week of June 11-19 has been designated as Nature Play Days, filled with activities at various locations throughout Indiana.

Hendricks Regional Health is part of the celebration as well when it hosts a free Nature Play Day on Monday, June 13, from 3-6 p.m. on the playground at its Danville hospital. Participants can celebrate everything that is fun about playing outdoors on the new playground equipment and with hula hoops, cornhole, lacrosse lessons from Brownsburg lacrosse team members, and more during this special afternoon. Guests should park and enter via the hospital’s northwest entrance.
