Hendricks Regional Health announces partnership with Brownsburg Schools to offer injury care and prevention education to middle and high school athletes, as well as physician coverage at games. Hendricks Regional Health’s certified athletic trainers care for athletes immediately after an injury. Trainers then work with Hendricks Regional Health sports medicine and orthopedic specialists to develop and implement a custom treatment plan for safe return to play. The Hendricks Regional Health team also provides sports physicals, baseline IMPACT concussion testing for high school athletes, CPR and AED instruction for high school coaches and additional services. This partnership marks a milestone as it makes HRH the official sports medicine provider for all area schools that work with a hospital partner; including six Hendricks County and three Putnam County school systems.
