Hendricks County Voting Machines Get a Software Upgrade

In a meeting on Tuesday, the Hendricks County commissioners discussed, among other things, a report on the county’s voting machines. The machines will get a software upgrade to comply with certification standards.

Hendricks County Election supervisor Laura Herzog says the machines will be back to the county by March 18. Herzog went on to say voters will not notice a difference in the voting machines themselves.

Later in the meeting, commissioners set a tentative date of March 21 for department head performance reviews.

Mike Graham, the administrator to the commissioners, recently gave his retirement letter to the board. Commissioner Phyllis Palmer will be heading up a committee to schedule interviews with potential people to fill the position.
