Hendricks County Parks Main Office Moves Temporarily

The main office of Hendricks County Parks & Recreation has temporarily moved to the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex located at 1900 E. Main Street in Danville. The Parks Department’s office staff can be found in Classroom D.

The department’s regular office is undergoing renovations that are expected to last several weeks, leading to the staff’s relocation.

To locate Classroom D, enter the Conference Center through the main entrance and head straight back toward the breezeway leading to the Exposition Hall. Near the breezeway entrance, turn left toward the men’s restroom, and Classroom D is on the left.

Hendricks County Parks & Recreation will maintain its normal hours of operation from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the temporary relocation, but response to telephone calls could be delayed. Those wishing to contact the main office staff are encouraged to email the department at hcparks@hcparks.net.

McCloud Nature Park, Sodalis Nature Park, and the section of the Vandalia Trail that runs from Amo through Coatesville to the Hendricks-Putnam County line remain open from dawn to dusk daily.
