Hendricks County Community Foundation Announces New Community Calendar

The Hendricks County Community Foundation (HCCF) is excited to announce its new online Hendricks Community Calendar. HCCF conducted a county-wide needs assessment in 2019 which identified the top 20 community issues facing Hendricks County. One of the top issues was a lack of community-wide communication vehicles to inform everyone.

In response, the Community Foundation created a new online calendar – the Hendricks Community Calendar – as a central calendar to house community events from every corner of the county and help promote all the great things to see and do locally. Scan the QR code below to see the calendar and find events that will be best for you and your family!

The calendar is available for any community event that is open to the public and serves Hendricks County or is sponsored by an organization that serves Hendricks County. Other qualifications can be found on the calendar site at hendrickscommunitycalendar.org or by scanning the QR code below. Once an event is submitted, HCCF staff reviews the submission and then if approved, posts the event to the calendar. “Solutions to problems can often be something simple – as simple as a calendar,” commented Frances Mock, HCCF Communication & Finance Manager. “We are pleased to offer this service to enhance communication and promote all the exciting things happening in Hendricks County. We encourage everyone to submit their events to this calendar so it can be an effective information source for the entire community.”
