Gov. Holcomb Announces Judicial Appointment for Pulaski Superior Court Vacancy

INDIANAPOLIS – Gov. Eric J. Holcomb today announced Crystal A. Brucker Kocher as his appointment to fill the vacancy in the Pulaski Superior Court.

 

Ms. Kocher has extensive experience in both the civil and criminal arenas, having served not only as the juvenile magistrate in the Tippecanoe County Court system for several years, but also as a public defender in Tippecanoe County—and more recently as the chief deputy prosecutor in Pulaski County. Ms. Kocher has also engaged in the private practice of law, with significant experience in the areas of family law, probate, municipal, juvenile, collections and criminal law.

 

Ms. Kocher is a member of the Pulaski County Bar Association (past secretary) as well as the Indiana Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She has served with the Pulaski County Community Foundation. Ms. Kocher attended Marion College and Purdue University for her undergraduate degree and received her law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law.

Ms. Kocher will be sworn into office on a mutually agreeable date to be determined.
