A transcript of Donnelly’s video message is below:

Hello I’m Senator Joe Donnelly. I want to update you with some good news: today in the Senate, along with a majority of my colleagues, I voted to reverse the FCC’s misguided repeal of net neutrality.

Since the FCC took action to repeal net neutrality, I have been hearing from many Hoosiers about the need to protect an open internet. I believe all Hoosiers should have access to the content of their choice and I was proud to join my colleagues to vote for an open internet—and am pleased the Senate passed this commonsense measure.

From small businesses, to entrepreneurs, to Hoosier families, the internet is critical to Indiana and our country’s economy. It is a powerful tool for innovation, communication, research, and the robust exchange of information.

I hope Congress works together to support a free and open internet, so consumers can access the content of our choice.

As your Senator, I’m the hired help. If I can ever be of assistance, please reach out to my office at www.Donnelly.Senate.Gov.
