Dates Set for 2022 Avon Summer Concert Series Sponsored by Flora Brothers Painting

October 22, 2021—Avon, IN — The Avon Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Avon and Washington Township Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce Concerts in the Parks sponsored by Flora Brothers Painting.  This will be a six-concert series with 3 dates added and will kick-off on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Town of Avon Hall Park Amphitheatre. The six concerts will provide a variety of music genres that will appeal to all residents of the Avon Community. The concerts held at Town of Avon Hall Park Amphitheatre concerts are scheduled for June 3, July 2, August 5, 2022 and Washington Township Park Amphitheatre will be held in June 17, July 22 and August 19, 2022 and is free to the community.  The July 2nd date is part of the Town of Avon’s July 4th Celebration.

“We are excited about our partnership with Flora Brothers Painting.  This partnership will allow us to expand our concert series from three to six and include Avon Town Hall Park” said Tom Downard, Executive Director of the Avon Chamber of Commerce.

“Concerts in the Parks will be a great way for the Avon community to start the summer. With 6 total concerts and 3 being at the Avon Town Hall Park, you can expect us to go all out to put on a good show. We are excited to partner with The Avon Chamber of Commerce and Washington Township Parks & Recreation to continue to grow this amazing event” said Kim Freeman, Town of Avon, Horticulturist/Trails, Landscape Manager.

“Nothing can replace the enjoyment of a concert in a park.  It is a great way for our community to take advantage of seeing the beauty of both parks while listening to music with family & friends” said Lora Helmick, Park Director of Washington Township Parks & Recreation.
