Brownsburg Neighborhood Under Boil Water Order Through Wednesday Afternoon

Due to a water main break on Adams St., residents living in one north side Brownsburg neighborhood are under a water boil order.

Residents living on Adams St. between Franklin and Parthenia Aves. and Parthenia Ave. between Adams and Jefferson Sts. are under a water boil order until 4 p.m. Wed., June 16. While the water is safe for bathing, house cleaning and flushing, it must first be brought to a hard boil for five minutes prior to using for cooking, drinking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes.

Once the order is lifted, residents will need to let all water spigots run for five minutes to clear the lines.

The Town of Brownsburg apologizes for this inconvenience.
