Vigo County – Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information from the Sullivan City Police Department that two females, under the age of 14, had been molested.
The investigation revealed that Matthew B. Pugh, age 28, of Brazil, IN, allegedly molested two female juveniles under the age of 14.
After reviewing the investigation, Sullivan County Prosecutor, Ann Mischler, requested an arrest warrant for Pugh’s arrest. Sullivan County Circuit Court granted an arrest warrant on December 21, 2020, for Pugh. He was arrested this morning by Troopers Troy Cobb and Ted Robertson of the Putnamville State Police Post without incident. Matthew Pugh is currently being held in the Sullivan County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
