Body Found Monday Near 34th Street and Shadeland Avenue Identified as Missing 15-Year-Old

INDIANAPOLIS – The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the body found Monday evening near 34th Street and Shadeland Avenue as 15-year-old Timmee Jackson.

Timmee was identified by fingerprint comparison and his family has been notified.  The cause of death is not being released; however, the manner of Timmee’s death is Homicide.

As with all of their cases, the dedicated detectives of the IMPD worked tirelessly to find Timmee Jackson and 16-year-old Satorie Dionne Williams.  Timmee and Dionne were last seen by family and friends on Christmas Eve when they left to visit a friend who lived nearby.  When detectives responded on Monday evening, they felt it was highly probable the remains belonged to one or both of the teens.

Following a careful excavation process to preserve evidence, one body was recovered and transported to the Marion County Coroner’s Office.  A team of searchers from the IMPD, the Marion County Crime Lab, the Marion County Coroner’s Office, the Indianapolis Fire Department and members from Midwest Search Dogs continued to search the immediate area for an additional burial site but were unsuccessful in their efforts.

The search for Dionne will continue until he is found.

This new evidence will be presented to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the murder charges filed against Kevin Watkins.  The MCPO will determine how this new evidence impacts the ongoing case against Watkins.

This remains an on-going investigation and additional information may be released when significant developments in this case are known by detectives.
