Barrier Wall Repair Work on I-65 Downtown Indianapolis to begin September 15

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Pontem Contractors announces lane closures on I-65 downtown Indianapolis. 

Beginning on or after Friday, September 15, at 9 p.m. through Saturday, September 16, at 7 a.m. crews will close the inside lanes of I-65 northbound and southbound between W. 16th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Street. This closure will allow crews to repair the barrier wall. 

INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
