Avon – The Avon Chamber of Commerce website will go live today between 9:00-10:00 am. Because of this, our website will be unavailable for a period of time. The Chamber says the conversion will only last a short period of time. This new website will move the Chamber and its membership forward in many ways. One way is much better access via cell phone technology. The web address will remain the same at www.avonchamber.org.
Unfortunately, because of the computer system being down during the conversion, their E-News will be delayed a day and will be sent out on Friday instead of its normal delivery day of Thursday.
There will be an Avon Chamber luncheon on January 23rd at the Avon American Legion. The scheduled speaker will be DJ Muller, who will provide more information on the new website and how it may benefit the businesses of the Chamber members.
