WASHINGTON, DC – Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.), the chairman of the Joint Economic Committee, has received an “A” rating from the National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) for his work in the 114th Congress.
“I am honored to receive this rating, and I will continue to fight for a simplified tax code and spending restraint in my time left in Congress,” said Coats.
To determine senators’ ratings, NTLC scored a number of votes relating to tax, budget and appropriations measures that would have an impact on government spending programs and taxation.
