Vigo County—Tuesday morning at 10:58, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers stopped a blue 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier for throwing burnt material from the car (cigarette) and a faulty brake light on 6th Street at Crawford Street in Terre Haute.
During the investigation, troopers discovered approximately 2.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 3 grams of suspected marijuana, syringes, and assorted paraphernalia inside a bag within the vehicle. The passenger was also found to be wanted on a probation violation warrant from Vigo County. Both were taken to the Vigo County Jail.
Arrested Driver: Amanda R. Hancock, age 23, of Terre Haute, IN.
Charges: Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Arrested Passenger: Ashley A. McMickle, age 25, of Brazil, IN.
Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of Marijuana, Dealing Methamphetamine; Dealing Marijuana; Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Hypodermic Needles.
The arrest was made by ISP Meth Suppression Troopers Shilo Raulston, BJ Patterson, and Adam Edwards. Assisting was ISP Master Trooper Jason Owen.
