Putnamville Troopers Complete Operation Pull Over

Putnamville—Troopers from the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post concluded their participation in the statewide safety initiative “Operation Pull Over Blitz# 85” that targeted Aggressive Driving. The campaign ran from March 4th thru March 27th, 2016. During this time, troopers conducted targeted patrols and a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) sobriety checkpoint. 

The following enforcement efforts were compiled: 

Traffic Citations………………775

DUI Arrests……………….….15

Moving Truck Citations………113

Police Services………………510

Criminal Arrests……………..131

Felony Arrests………………..60

Crashes Worked………………15 

The majority of the criminal arrests were for drug violations and warrant arrests. 

The Indiana State Police will continue throughout the year to target dangerous and impaired driving. To report dangerous and/or impaired driving, dial 911.
