Town of Brownsburg Free Curbside Limb Pickup Begins April 4th

BROWNSBURG – The Town of Brownsburg’s curbside collection for branches and yard trimmings starts Monday, April 4. Residents may stack small branches and limbs in their yard behind the curb edge to take advantage of this free Town service.

The Street Department’s wood chipper circulates through the town Monday through Wednesday. The route runs in neighborhoods every other week.

No call is necessary to request collection; the chipper crew will recycle tree material according to the following schedule:

ROUTE 1

Monday:  Holloway Pointe, Holloway Ridge, Holloway Corner, Northridge, Fountains of Northridge, Arbors of Northridge, Northridge Estates, and Mardale Estates, Arbor Springs and Summer Ridge

Tuesday:  Windridge Landing, Oaks of Windridge, Winding Creek, Green Street Village, Whittington Estates, Lake Ridge and Hession Fields

Wednesday:  Murphy Meadows and Austin Meadows

ROUTE 2

Monday:  Willow Springs, Sunny Knoll, Hartford Park, The Hideaway, Holiday Lane, Prairie Village, Chadwick Square, Cedar Run, Cedar Run Lakes and Sugar Bush Farms

Tuesday:  Hunters Cove, Thornburg, Bersot Crossing, Fox Chase and Heritage Hills

Wednesday:  Ashwood, Hornaday Heights, Ironwood Estates, Brownswood, Country Walk, Fairfield Heights, Meadowchase, Lincoln Pointe, Beacon Pointe, Holiday Pines, Creekside Commons, Wynne Farms and Maple Grove   Thursday and Friday are make-up days in the case that weather or other factors delay the regular schedule. When a holiday falls on Monday, the route will begin on Tuesday. Collection times may vary, so it is recommended that stacks be along the curb by 7 a.m. on the neighborhood’s scheduled pickup day.

Limbs should be smaller than 6 inches in diameter; the pile should be no bigger than what a pickup truck could hold. Download the color-coded route map from the Town’s website, www.brownsburg.org, under Departments/Street Department/Limb and Leaf Pickup.

This program is for tree material; no lumber, root balls or firewood please. Residents may take leaves and other matter to the Hendricks County Solid Waste Management District’s yard waste recycling center at 90 Mardale Drive from April through November. Visit www.hendrickssolidwaste.com or call 858-8231 for information.
