DANVILLE, IN (February 7, 2024) –An Avon catering and dessert business will help welcome and feed thousands of fans as the NBA All-Star Festivities roll into Indianapolis next week.
Marsha’s Specialty Desserts & Tierney’s Catering was chosen by the Indiana Pacers to provide treats for the NBA All-Star HBCU Pregame Party outside Gainbridge Fieldhouse on The Bicentennial Unity Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17.
We are so excited to have been included in such a fun and important event for Indiana,” said Marsha Quarles, owner of Marsha’s Specialty Desserts. “We are proud to represent Hendricks County and look forward to sharing our delicious treats with people from all around the country.”
Marsha’s Specialty Desserts plans to bring 2,000 mini treats to the party including brownie bites, peach cobbler shooters, Reese’s peanut butter cup cheesecake shooters and assorted cupcakes. But their participation in the party is just one way their business and other Hendricks County businesses are getting involved with the All-Star festivities.
Other local businesses also are participating in the NBA All-Star 2024 Rewards Program. The program encourages fans to support participating central Indiana businesses by driving them to their stores to earn instant prizes or points toward NBA All-Star 2024 tickets, merchandise and more. The program, available through the NBA Events App, rewards fans for supporting local businesses.
