INDIANAPOLIS (October 11, 2023) – The 500 Festival announces today that registration is open for the 2024 500 Festival Miler Series, presented by OrthoIndy, and will return to Fowling Warehouse Indianapolis for the second year.
The Miler Series features three running/walking events at three unique distances, three, six, and 10 miles. The series launches on February 10 with the 3-Miler, followed by the 6-Miler on March 9, and concludes with the 10-Miler on April 6. The date and distance of the races coincide with a typical training plan for a spring race like the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. Participants are encouraged to practice their race day strategy and pacing, running in crowds, stopping at water stations, and more. Each race will be timed, and official results will be available following the event.
The Miler Series will start and finish from Fowling Warehouse Indianapolis. This 50,000-square-foot facility allows participants and spectators the space to enjoy pre-race festivities including packet pickup, gear check, sponsor activations, and more. It’s also a perfect spot to warm up and stretch before the race and to celebrate post-race. Parking is free and available onsite. Fowling Warehouse will be open for participants to play following the event.
Registration is officially open online at IndyMini.com/Milers through February 4. Registration will be available onsite at the individual races. All races are open to the public, all levels and abilities, and do not require individuals to be registered for the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon to participate.
Participants can register for the full Miler Series, which includes the 3-Miler, 6-Miler, and 10-Miler, or any of the races as individual events. Those who opt for the full Miler Series will receive the long-sleeved participant t-shirt and medal. The full Miler Series is priced at $75 online or $80 for event-day registration.
