A $1.3 million project will patch and resurface a stretch of State Road 47 in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a patch and resurfacing project will begin on State Road 47 in Thorntown from one half of one mile west of S.R 75 to U.S. 52 on or after Monday, June 22, weather permitting. The contractor will be flagging motorists around the area they will be working.

Milestone Contractors L.P. was awarded the $1.3 million contract.  This is scheduled to be completed in late August.  INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through this and all work zones.
