Governor Pence Wishes Hoosiers a Happy Hanukkah

Indianapolis – Governor Mike Pence today issued the following statement on the first night of Hanukkah.

“On this first night of Hanukkah, the Jewish community across Indiana and the world will gather in the homes of family and friends to kindle the menorah light in commemoration of a timeless tale of faith and perseverance.  May this Festival of Lights inspire us all to find light in times of darkness and remind us that our best days are yet to come. In that spirit, I invite Hoosiers to honor the holiday by embracing these principles both during the next eight days and throughout the year.”
