Rosedale Woman Arrested for Identity Theft

Parke County – Indiana State Police Detective Brian Maudlin initiated a criminal investigation on January 2, 2020, after receiving information from a family member that Kathleen Rayborn, age 48, of Rosedale, Indiana, had allegedly charged over $26,000 to credit cards, in that family member’s name.  The investigation revealed that Rayborn had allegedly opened up several credit cards starting in March 2019 going through December 2019.  

After reviewing the investigation, the Parke County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for Rayborn’s arrest.  Earlier today Rayborn turned herself in at the Parke County Jail.  She is being held on a $10,000 bond with 10% allowed.

Arrested and Charges:  Kathleen Rayborn, 48, Rosedale

Identity Deception (2counts), Class 6 Felony 

Assisting Agency:  Corporal Pete Slaven, Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
