Avon Community School Corporation Students to Perform with the Indiana All State Junior Band

AVON, IN—(JANUARY 24, 2018) Five ACSC students were chosen to perform at the Annual Junior All State Band Festival. Three 8th grade students from Avon Middle School North included Cody Hatfield (percussion), Vesna Feiock (trombone) and Kai Lichfield (alternate tenor saxophone). Two 7th grade students from Avon Middle School South were Sophia Clark (percussion) and Mason DePriest (percussion). 

Avon’s students were among 100 outstanding students from throughout the state to perform during the Indiana Music Education Association (IMEA) Professional Development Conference in Ft. Wayne. This year’s performance was conducted by Dr. Mark Spede of Clemson University.
