Work starting on or after March 7 on bridge repair projects in Avon and Brownsburg

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces work will start on or after Tuesday, March 7 on two bridge repair projects in Avon and Brownsburg. Crews expec to start with the bridge in Brownsburg, over I-74. There will be a lane restriction in effect on County Road 600 N. between Dale Schrier Drive and Wild Ridge Boulevard, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The restrictions will last through the end of March, weather permitting.

In Avon, crews will start work on the U.S. 36 bridge on or after Wednesday, March 8th. There will be a lane restriction in effect between County Road 571 E. and Co. Rd. 671 E., from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The restrictions will last through the end of March, weather permitting.

This contract was awarded to Crackers Demo, LLC for $2 million. It also involves culvert work on State Road 39 and S.R. 236. There will be future closures and restrictions associated with this project. INDOT will notify the public in a timely manner, prior to future closures and/or restrictions.
