US 40 Project begins this week in Plainfield

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a patch and resurfacing project on U.S. 40 begins Tuesday, April 14 in Plainfield, weather permitting. This project spans from just over one half of one mile west of State Road 267 to the Hendricks/Marion County line.  The contractor plans to begin working on the east end near Ronald Reagan Parkway.  The contractor will have one lane closed in the area they are working.

This project also includes a bridge deck overlay on the west end of U.S. 40 over White Lick Creek, currently the schedule shows work will begin on the bridge in late July. The project is scheduled to be completed before the Labor Day holiday.
