Troopers Recover Marijuana Plants, Guns, Pills during Search/Arrest Warrant Service

Indianapolis, IN- A tip to the Indiana State Police has resulted in the arrest of an Indianapolis man on several criminal charges.

Last night at approximately 10:00 p.m. detectives with the Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section acted on a tip supplied anonymously to the Indiana State Police. The tipster has advised that Jeremy Riffert was residing at 94 N. Routiers, Indianapolis and was wanted on outstanding warrants through Marion County for parole violation of HTV, possession of marijuana D-Felony and possession of marijuana A-Misdemeanor.

During the course of the investigation detectives also gained information that the residence of 94 N. Routiers, Indianapolis allegedly contained an indoor marijuana grow operation. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence which was served early this morning with the assistance of the Indiana State Police Swat team.

Riffert was located inside the residence and arrested without incident. Troopers recovered two firearms, approximately 50 Legend drugs pills, 20 Schedule Four pills and six marijuana plants.

Riffert was incarcerated in the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center on the outstanding warrants and detectives will be filing further charges regarding the recovered drugs and firearms.
