Training infrastructure applications through the Regional Public Safety Fund are now open

The Indiana Fire and Public Safety Academy offers financial assistance through the Regional Public Safety Fund to support regional training opportunities intended for first responders seeking state certification and continuing education.

Eligible applicants include:

  • Career fire departments
  • Combination fire departments
  • Volunteer fire departments
  • Non-fire affiliated EMS agencies
  • Vocational schools

Applications are due by 11:59 EDT on June 30, 2021.

Questions on accessing iGMS should be directed to the Fire and Public Safety Training Academy at firetraining@dhs.in.gov.
