Hendricks County- More than 50 scholarships are offered by the Hendricks County Community Foundation to local high school seniors, and the application to apply for these will be open through December 16.
The awards range from $500 to $10,000, with each scholarship having specific criteria. Students must apply for the scholarships online, at http://www.hendrickscountycf.org/scholarships/, where more information is also available.
Since 1996, the Community Foundation has awarded nearly 550 scholarships worth over $3.7 million. These scholarships are funded by donors who believe in the youth of Hendricks County and want to support their pursuit of higher education.
Applications for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship will also be open until December 16th. An application becomes valid only when completed in its entirety by December 16, 2015.
