Temporary restrictions on US 36 for patchwork in Avon starting June 27

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions on U.S. 36 starting on or after Monday, June 27 in Avon. The U.S. 36 westbound passing lane will be restricted just west of County Road 625 E. over White Lick Creek to just east of C.R. 571 E. U.S. 36 will be down to one, 12-foot lane in that area. This will allow crews to safely patch the west side of White Lick Creek bridge. The restrictions are expected to last into July, weather permitting.

This project was awarded to Rieth Riley Construction for $2.9 million.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
