State Road 47 will Close north of Crawfordsville in early April

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces State Road 47 (S.R. 47) will close on or after Monday, April 2 for a bridge deck replacement nearly one mile north of State Road 32 in Crawfordsville on the bridge over Walnut Fork. The roadway is scheduled to reopen on August 15.

ICC Group Inc. was awarded the $2 million contract. The official detour will utilize State Road 75 to S.R. 32 and back.

This contract also includes a bridge replacement just south of State Road 59 in Waveland over the north Fork of Little Raccoon Creek.  This work will take place after July 5 of this year.  Traffic will be controlled at the bridge with a traffic signal.
