Tulip Tyme at Harvest Tyme
17904 Grant St., Lowell
Opened Daily 10am to 6pm through May 11
Tulip Tyme is the newest family fun adventure presented by Harvest Tyme Family Farm. Located 2 hours north of Indianapolis, Harvest Tyme Family Farm is a seasonal family fall attraction that is constantly finding innovative ways to bring visitors to the farm during various times of the year. In the past Harvest Tyme hosted Dino Tyme, Unicorn Tyme and Construction Tyme events before the start of their fall festival season. Harvest Tyme’s fall festival is a northwest tradition and features blooming sunflower fields, a corn maze, pumpkin patch and amusement rides. Harvest Tyme also has special nighttime events including Pumpkin Glow Trail, which features hundreds of jack-o’-lanterns and themed displays and Christmas Tyme Lights a festive holiday themed walk thru light display. Harvest Tyme came up with the concept of Tulip Tyme after noticing that there aren’t many tulip festivals in their area, and seen a great opportunity to bring something fresh, colorful, and family-friendly to “the region.”
Tulip Tyme features over 300,000 bulbs in vibrant colors and unique varieties. Even though the amusement rides aren’t in operation during the event, there is still plenty of fun attractions to do including a trike track for kids, the Piggy 500 a ride on pig race, a climbing tire mountain, kids play equipment with slides and swings, a jumping pillow, yard games including a pumpkin and dinosaur themed guess who, a petting zoo with adorable baby farm animals, and more to keep the whole family entertained for hours!
