Soil & Water Conservation District Fall Tree Sale Now Underway

Fall is a great time to plant new and replacement trees and the local Soil & Water Conservation District is taking orders now for container-grown natives.

Review the species list and place orders now through Sept. 25 at the Hendricks County SWCD, 195 Meadow Dr., Ste. 2, in Danville; through email to brianna.ollier@in.nacdnet.net; or facebook.com/hendricksswcd.

Container-grown trees and shrubs will continue growing until winter. Established root systems resume growing quickly in the spring.

Each tree and shrub are locally grown and priced at $25. Orders can be picked up at the county fairgrounds; buyers will be informed of pick-up date and time.
