INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 17, 2021) – Expect I-465 traffic delays after 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights, weather permitting, during installation of overhead electric transmission lines just east of S.R. 37/Harding Street.Police are scheduled to assist utility contractors with 20-minute rolling slowdowns of I-465 traffic between S.R. 67/Kentucky Avenue and I-65 on the city’s southwest side. The traffic slowdowns will also require short closures of I-465 entrance ramps at Mann Road, S.R. 37 and U.S. 31/East Street.Traffic backups will be given time to clear before the next rolling slowdown, and work is expected to be completed by 4 a.m. each morning.
