Putnamville Troopers Participate in Multi-State Project

Troopers from the Putnamville Post participated in a one week criminal enforcement detail on Interstate 70 from September 3 through September 9, 2017. The event was coordinated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

 

This detail was a collaborative effort between the Colorado State Patrol, Illinois State Police, Indiana State Police, Maryland State Police, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Pennsylvania State Police, and Junction City/Geary County Kansas Criminal Interdiction Team. The focus was on general criminal activity along Interstate 70. 

 

Putnamville troopers compiled the following: Traffic citations 438; Traffic warnings 567; DUI arrests 15; Driving While Suspended Citations 14; Seatbelt citations 22;  Motorist assists 72; Felony arrests 9; Misdemeanor arrests 47; Felony warrant arrests 4; Misdemeanor warrant arrests 6.

 

Troopers seized 32 grams of Marijuana, 20 grams of K2/Spice, assorted prescription pills and two methamphetamine labs.

 

No other information is available. Any questions concerning the ISP Indianapolis and Pendleton Districts should be directed to those districts. Questions concerning the other agencies should be directed to those agencies.
