On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 3:17 pm Plainfield officers were dispatched to a report of a possible overdose at 3330 Double Creek Drive North. Upon their arrival, they located an adult male and female deceased in the residence. They were identified as Judy Hearon (44) and Craig Hearon (48).
On initial investigation, it was not certain as to what occurred in the residence which lead to Plainfield Detectives to file for a search warrant and secure the premises.
Once the search warrant was granted, the Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were then able to process the scene.
The incident was determined to be a murder/suicide involving a firearm.
