North West Hendricks Superintendent, Dr. Scott Syverson, recommended Mr. Mike Tricker to become the next HS Principal at Tri-West High School. Mr. Tricker was unanimously approved by the board of education at a special session on Monday evening. Mr. Tricker comes to Tri-West High School with a wide range of experiences in education. Over the past 30 years, Mike has served as a teacher, coach, athletic director, principal, and most recently, the director of operations at South Montgomery School Corporation.
Mike lives on a small farm in Ladoga with his wife of 32 years, Kim. They enjoy raising pigs and chickens and are both active beekeepers. Mike and Kim have three daughters, one grandson, and an expected granddaughter in October.
Mike received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, a master’s degree at Ball State University, and his Educational Specialist Degree from Indiana State University. In 2020, he also received his Certificate of Applied Educational Neuroscience from Butler University. Mike and Kim enjoy attending school events and look forward to joining the North West Hendricks School community.
