National FFA Convention to stay in Indianapolis through 2031

INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 11, 2018) — Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director Bruce Kettler issued the following statement on National FFA’s announcement to continue to host the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis through 2031.

“Today’s announcement by National FFA is another defining moment for our state. This student-led organization has been pivotal in shaping agriculture’s future leaders, and this convention allows them to experience many new and exciting facets about the industry. As a former National FFA Officer, I can attest to this firsthand.

“Indiana’s legacy revolves around agriculture, and FFA has been a major part of our story. We’re thrilled to host the National FFA Convention & Expo here through 2031.”

Kettler was a member of Ohio FFA, and served as the 1981-82 Ohio FFA State President, as well as the 1982-83 National FFA Vice President.
