Music for All Indiana State Fair Band Day Presented by Music Travel Consultants Announces Top Ten; Anderson High School Wins Top Honor

August 2, 2019, Indianapolis, IN- The 2019 Music for All Indiana State Fair Band Day presented by Music Travel Consultants has concluded after a hard-fought battle between the bands previously announced as the “Sweet 16.” This was the final contest of the Central Indiana Track Show Association’s (CITSA) season for these 40 high school bands. After much deliberation among the eight judges, Anderson High School was awarded the title of “Indiana’s Best Band” and takes home the trophy at this year’s Indiana State Fair Band Day.

Throughout the day, the Hoosier Lottery Grandstands were filled with music fans and family members/friends of the marching bands as the “Sweet 16” and finalist were announced.

According to the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center Executive Director Cindy Hoye, “Regardless of scoring, all of today’s 40 participants are winners by virtue of their hard work and dedication. The Indiana State Fair is proud to host this exciting event.”

  3. Jay County High School
  4. Centerville Sr. High School
  5. Northeastern High School
  6. Winchester Community High School
  7. Muncie Central High School
  8. Lebanon High School
  9. Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School
  10. Hagerstown Jr./Sr. High School
