MonoSol expands to Lebanon, adding up to 95 jobs, Career Fair next week

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., July 29, 2019 – MonoSol, one of the fastest-growing companies in Northwest Indiana, is expanding to Lebanon and hiring up to 95 employees for its new manufacturing plant. To help fill those positions, the company is hosting a Career Fair on Thursday, August 8, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gene Haas Training and Education Center at 316 N. Mt. Zion Road in Lebanon, Indiana.

The company is seeking a range of full-time positions, including production associates, maintenance technicians, floor supervisors and other roles. Participants in the job fair will have the opportunity to explore positions, meet with recruiters, and share their background and experience.

MonoSol broke ground in early 2018 on the $72 million, 150,000-square-foot facility in the Duke Realty Lebanon Business Park. It is the company’s fourth manufacturing plant in Indiana and sixth globally.

MonoSol produces the water-soluble and biodegradable polymer films that are used by consumer packaged goods companies for popular products like dissolvable packets of laundry and dishwasher detergent, protein supplements and personal care products. As team members are hired and trained, production at the Lebanon facility is scheduled to begin this fall.

“To keep pace with the continued growth of our business and strong demand for our water-soluble film technology, we are excited to expand our manufacturing footprint into central Indiana,” said P. Scott Bening, president and CEO, MonoSol. “We look forward to introducing ourselves at the Career Fair and giving people the opportunity to learn about the MonoSol culture that has been key to our growth and success.”

MonoSol offers highly competitive wages with exceptional benefits for eligible employees, including comprehensive health care plans, 401(k) and profit sharing. New team members can earn from $19.00 to $36.00 per hour, based on role and experience. More details are available at www.monosol.com/careers.
