Man injured in Morgan County ORV accident

Mooresville – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle (ORV) accident that occurred Thursday night. 

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Indiana Conservation Officers were called to investigate an ORV accident that left a Morgan County man injured. 

Initial investigation revealed that Skyler Henry, 24 of Mooresville was operating a Bombardier 450 ORV Southbound on Bray Road near the 12000 block when the accident occurred.  While operating on the asphalt road, the ORV hit loose gravel causing Henry to lose control and run off the roadway and then strike a tree.

As a result of the collision, Henry sustained serious injuries which required him to be transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.  It was determined through the investigation that no safety equipment was being worn at the time of the collision.

Assisting agencies included Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, Morgan County EMS and Monroe Township Fire Department.
