INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation will close lanes of I-465 Eastbound and Westbound into next week to continue the demolition of the Ditch Rd bridge.
Only one or two lanes will be closed at a time throughout next week.
Crews began removing part of the bridge deck this week. Next week, the beams will be removed so a full replacement can begin.
All work will be completed overnight between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Once crews start to remove the beams, they will stop traffic in 20 minute intervals to lower the beams to the ground and haul them away.
