Lane closures begin this week on I-465 on the northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS – Work will begin this week on I-465 on the northwest side. 

Contractors will be working overnight from Wednesday, May 8 to Sunday, May 12. 

This week, they will be patching areas on I-465 from 71st street to U.S. 31.

While they are working, three lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning.

One lane will always remain open in each direction.

Weather permitting, work will start in Northbound lanes near 71st St. and eventually move Eastbound to U.S. 31. 

Contractors will flip around and start working Westbound and finally southbound back to 71st St. to finish off the weekend.
