ISP Arrests Vigo County Man for Child Pornography

Vigo County—Wednesday morning around 8:00, Indiana State Police Detectives with the ISP Cyber Crimes and Internet Crimes Against Children Units, served a Vigo County search warrant on the home at 9796 North Baldwin Street (Fontanet) in northeastern Vigo County. The search resulted in one arrest.

Arrested:         Levi David Black, age 20, of the address

Incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail

Charges:          Possession of Child Pornography (Number of counts pending)

During a search of the residence, investigators initially located approximately one hundred images of child pornography on Black’s electronic devices. Further examination may reveal more at a later date.

user29410-1459962656-media2The case originated from information developed by NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children), with the information then forwarded to the ISP Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) unit.

The lead investigator was ISP Detective Ginger Marshall of the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. Assisting were multiple detectives from the ISP Internet Crimes Against Children and Cyber Crimes Units, a trooper and detective from the Putnamville District, and the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office.
