Indy Chamber Partners with Jobvite to Bolster Talent Initiative

The Indy Chamber announced a partnership today with Jobvite, a comprehensive talent solution provider, to contribute its expertise and systems to improve the structure and effectiveness of the Rapid Response Talent initiative in collaboration with the City of Indianapolis, EmployIndy, and Ascend Indiana. Beginning today, job seekers can complete a simple form in less than a minute to share their job interests in a customized version of the Jobvite platform that expedites the connection between talent and employers with available positions. Employers can sign up for a profile, upload information on current openings, and work with the Indy Chamber and its collaborators to identify targeted candidates to fill available roles.

“We are honored and pleased to support the Rapid Response Talent initiative and the good work that the Indy Chamber is doing to help the community of employers and job seekers,” said Jeffrey K. Rohrs, Chief Marketing Officer of Jobvite.  “As we saw in our Job Seeker Nation report launched last week, 54% of job seekers are concerned about losing a job and 73% believe finding a job is harder this year.  We must, as a community, come together and help connect employers and job seekers.”

Today’s announcement comes on the heels of the initial launch of Rapid Response Talent last week in collaboration with the City of Indianapolis, EmployIndy, and Ascend Indiana. The initiative serves as a bridge to address immediate unemployment challenges, as well as inform and support the long-term workforce solutions of the Chamber’s collaborators. Dozens of job seekers, employers, and employment partners that have already registered through the current intake process will be seamlessly transitioned into the Jobvite platform.

“We want to thank CEO and Indy Chamber Board member Aman Brar and his team at Jobvite for stepping up when our community needs them the most to address unprecedented unemployment challenges,” notes Indy Chamber President and CEO Michael Huber. “Our partners and collaborators understand that the faster we can connect individuals to opportunity, the faster our region can recover. Connection is at the core of the Indy Chamber’s mission, and today’s announcement streamlines that process.”

“With the enhanced capabilities of the Jobvite platform, we expect faster and more comprehensive connections of people to employers and critical resources to meet immediate needs in our job market,” comments Liz Huldin, strategy and human capital consultant for the Indy Chamber. “Our team is impressed by the capabilities and innovation of our Jobvite partner.”

Rapid Response Talent is one of a growing number of services under the umbrella of the Indy Chamber’s response to COVID-19. Through the Chamber’s Rapid Response Hub, small business owners can find answers to questions, evaluate options for financial assistance, and discover new promotional opportunities.
