On April 7, 2021, CGIC detectives along with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) SWAT served the search warrant at 5626 Personality Ct. Upon serving the warrant the IMPD SWAT located 34-year-old John McDonough.
A detailed search of the residence resulting in following findings:
- Smith & Wesson, model SD40VE handgun
- Charter Arms revolver, model 38SP handgun
- Remington 12ga shotgun
- Glock 17 pistol
- 1000 grams of methamphetamine
- Approx. half pound of fentanyl
- US currency $37,316 (being held for forfeiture)
- Ammunition
Mr. McDonough was placed under arrest. The ATF and US Attorney’s Office will be pursing federal charges.
The goal of the Indianapolis CGIC is to reduce gun violence in Indianapolis.
