IMPD Takes a First Place Finish during K9 Olympics

Competing with about 120 other K9 teams over a four day period, Miguel Roa and his partner Panda were 3rd Place in the Building Search competition and 1st Place in the Residence Search competition.

Brian Thorla and his partner Hogan were 2nd Place in the Vehicle Interior competition.

Our good friend Julie Case from Ultimate K9 also finished in the top three on several venues and was 1st Place overall for the narcotics competition.
Julie, Miguel, and Brian also finished 1st Place as a team.

Gary Hadden was again a Judge this year and put in many long hours over the last week and the weeks prior helping the competitors prepare for the competition. The dedication and commitment by everyone is just outstanding!
