IMPD Officer Aaron Hamer appointed to the Indiana Supreme Court’s Commission on Race and Gender Fairness

Congratulations to Officer Aaron Hamer (Public Affairs Office) for his appointment into the Indiana Supreme Court’s Commission on Race and Gender Fairness.

Officer Aaron Hamer

The Commission on Race & Gender Fairness studies the effect that race and gender may have in Indiana’s justice system.  The Commission then investigates ways to improve such issues in the legal system, state government and local government by using legal service providers and public organizations, among other things. The Commission will recommend to the Indiana Supreme Court the adoption of policies and procedures promoting race and gender fairness.

“Officer Hamer’s participation in the Commission on Race & Gender Fairness speaks to our commitment as an agency to advance equity and well-being for all the communities we serve. We are proud to have Officer Hamer lend his voice to such an important effort and congratulate him on this significant achievement.” Stated IMPD Chief, Bryan Roach.

Congratulations, Officer Hamer, on this significant achievement!
